Happy Birthday, My Love

Today, Terry celebrates another trip around the sun, and I am so fortunate that I got to be along for the ride. Every morning when I look at her sleeping beside me, my heart fills with so much love that I can’t contain it.

I love everything about her, from her physical beauty to her inner beauty, her intelligence, her creativity, and her unwavering loyalty and support through good times and bad. My only regret in life is that it took us 45 years to find each other. Terry tells me that the relationship we have today is because of the people we are, and those 45 years are what made us who we were when we got together. Maybe so. All I know is that I’m a much better man because of the years we have shared.

Terry, you are my everything. I make my living with words, but I can never find the words to tell you just how much you mean to me and how much I adore you, and how grateful I am that you chose me to share your life with. You are my today and all of my tomorrows. I love you with all my being, darling. Happy Birthday!
