75 Years

Terry’s mom and dad, Pete and Bess Weber, will be married 75 years on Tuesday, so this weekend, we are celebrating with a family get-together at their home in the Apache Junction area.

Terry’s twin sons, Cody on the left and Casey on the right, flew down from their home in Avon, Colorado. We don’t get to spend much time with them, so it’s always fun when we do.

In spite of the heat, 112 degrees when we got here Thursday afternoon, we are having a good time inside with the air conditioning and plenty of munchies. Today there is a gathering at the activity center of the manufactured home community where they live, with ice cream and cake, and we expect more family members and friends to be there for it. Seventy-five years together is a long time and definitely an occasion to be commemorated.
