This warm weather has me thinking not just about gardening and yard work, it’s also got me thinking about hammocks. I love hammocks and I’ve had a couple of them over the years. I have wanted another one for a long time, and the other day on Amazon I found just what I was looking for.
It’s a Suncreat portable double model with its own stand and 475-pound weight capacity. It came with a reversible quilted cover and there were a choice of colors.
Putting it together was fairly easy, even for me, and I couldn’t wait to get in it. The hammock is adjustable for height, and I didn’t have it adjusted right the first time, which meant as soon as I sat down, I fell on my butt. Terry said she had to get a picture of that for blog fodder.
That’s okay because once we got it tightened up and adjusted, it was very comfortable. I lay out on the back deck in it for a while and almost fell asleep. I think I’ll make that my new satellite office.
In spite of the fact that her eyes are so red and swollen from allergies that she can hardly see, Terry has been diligently working on the last read-through of my new book, Debt Collector. As soon as she finishes and I make any last corrections she finds, I’ll be uploading it to Amazon. Hopefully that will be today, but I can’t promise.

I feel SO bad for Miss Terry, I recently went through a similar situation where my eyes were extremely red and painful, I couldn’t even see the TV. Mine wasn’t allergies but some sort of auto immune response. About six weeks in with several RX drops I’m almost back to normal. It is miserable! Please give her my best.
Your newest, Debt Collector, reminded me of a character who used to come in my bar. We called her Repo Girl because that’s what she did. She had a lot of interesting stories.
