Nobody Goes Hungry

If you ever spend any time around our family, you can be sure that you won’t leave hungry. Between Terry’s amazing cooking and Kenny and Tiffany and the things they cook on their Traeger smoker grill, someone is always making something good to eat.

Yesterday, the kids invited us over for dinner, and Kenny made amazing burgers made from ground elk and bacon. They were thick and juicy, and when he offered me a second, I had to turn it down because I just didn’t have any more room. But I sure was wishing I did!

After dinner we sat and visited for a while, then dessert was a delicious Hummingbird (pineapple banana) cake that Terry made scratch and topped with a cream cheese glaze and crushed toasted pecans. Oh my gosh, was it good! Like I said, nobody goes hungry around here.

In other news, if any of you are writers or are interested in becoming writers, I will be speaking at the Arizona Professional Writer’s Conference in Scottsdale on April 25th, along with USA Today best-selling author Barbara Hinski, and intellectual property attorney and author Maria Crimini Speth. The event is open to the public, and here is a flyer with more information. It’s been quite a while since I presented a seminar, but I’m looking forward to it.
