Anybody Want Some Candy?

We weren’t sure if we would get any trick-or-treaters at our house last night, but Terry bought a couple of bags of candy just in case. But all we got were four kids coming to our door, so we have a whole bunch of candy left over. Anybody out there got a sweet tooth?

There was a time I would have been happy about that because I definitely have a sweet tooth! At least, I always did. But since I’ve started my diet and am giving myself weekly Mounjaro injections, I don’t crave treats much at all. I don’t even get hungry very often, as far as that goes. And I’m proud to say, the results have been good. Since I started this journey back in late February, I have lost 67 pounds. I’ve still got more to go, but I’m chipping away at it one day at a time.

Of course that doesn’t mean I deny myself good food. I just eat smaller portions these days. I mean, who could resist these homemade pizzas that Terry made?

In other news, the audiobook and printed edition of Baby Boom, the seventh book in my Tinder Street family saga are now available on Amazon.

So is the audiobook of the sixth book in the series, The War Years. I thought it had been available for months, but apparently there was a a glitch in the system, and it’s been sitting in limbo all this time. I didn’t know about it until somebody asked me about the audiobook yesterday.

Speaking of books, I’m back at it, working on Big Lake Parolee. I’m only a couple of chapters in, but I’m enjoying the story so far, and I’m looking forward to seeing where it’s going to go.
