Beyond Frustrating

I don’t know what’s going on with my 17-inch Lenovo ThinkPad, but for some reason the speakers no longer work. I have made sure they are turned on, and they are, but nothing comes out when I try to do anything with sound. However, when I plug a headset into it, the sound works just fine. Since it’s running Windows 10, I can’t get support anymore from Microsoft. I’ve been messing with this for two days now and getting nowhere. I have spent a lot of time researching online and trying different suggestions I found in forums, but nothing seems to work so far.

I also have a 15-inch Lenovo ThinkPad still running Windows 10 that I use when we are out of town and as a backup. The sound is working fine on it, and I checked all the settings, and they seem to be the same on both computers. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated because it’s been beyond frustrating.

In spite of all that, I managed to get the audiobook and the print edition of Baby Boom uploaded yesterday. They are still under review as of this writing, but they should be live any time now.
