Time Went Too Fast

They say time flies when you are having fun, and we have obviously been having a lot of fun, because our week with Terry’s parents, Pete and Bess Weber has gone by way too fast. They arrived a week ago today, and this morning we are taking them back to the airport in Birmingham for their flight back home to the Phoenix area.

Except for one trip to town for dinner at the Juicy Crab we have stayed home, just enjoying our time together and visiting. Terry has loved cooking for them and baking some of her special goodies, and we have made good use of the deck, sitting outside enjoying the nice fall days.

I’ve taken a lot of pictures of Terry and her parents as they shared a lot of memories, plenty of laughs, and a few tears now and then.

Pete and Bess have also enjoyed getting to know our critters. Watching Alli and Mai Lyn play and love on each other is always heartwarming. The dog is so big and the kitten is so small, but Alli is always gentle with her.

Alli seldom leaves my side but she accompanied my 93-year old father-in-law on his walk around our property, just to make sure he was okay.
