After 5 days, we got power back yesterday afternoon. It’s so nice to have lights and AC, and I won’t even go into the delights of a hot shower! We still don’t have internet or TV and Spectrum says it could be as much as two weeks before we do. I am able to use my phone as a hotspot for limited activity, and it is very slow. I will try to post more tomorrow. Thanks for hanging in there with us folks, and I can’t tell you how much you appreciate everybody’s concern. Compared tomany in our state, and even in our community, we have had it easy.

I have my motorhome parked in my yard, plugged in with full gas, propane and water tanks. In case of an emergency (as bad as emergencies get here on Canada’s west coast) I can walk across the driveway and “boondock” in my most comfortable RV, running the generator. I have never had to do it but feels comfortable knowing I can if I have to. Good luck you guys, you have the essentials back, just wait for the luxuries!
