Happy Birthday Tiffany

April is a month full of birthdays in our family. Son-in-law Kenny’s birthday was the 6th, yesterday was daughter-in-law Gila’s birthday, and today we wish a happy birthday to our beautiful, wonderful, and amazing daughter Tiffany.

Tiffany is a character, no question about that. I’m proud to say that she gets her sometimes twisted sense of humor from me. We are both clowns who love to laugh and to make people laugh.

As for where she got her sweet personality and good looks from, I can’t tell you that, because those definitely weren’t from me. Tiffany is also a very intelligent, levelheaded woman, a wonderful mother, and an amazing daughter who will do anything for the people she loves.

We almost lost Tiffany a few years ago when her heart suddenly stopped beating, and then she coded a couple of times when they had her in the ER. She wound up in a coma for several days and I can’t tell you how terrifying it was for all of us. But she made a full recovery, and these days, besides the wonderful loving heart she has inside of her chest, she has a little machine that keeps it working all the time.

Happy Birthday, Tiffany. We love you very much and we are so very proud of you!

We’re not done with this month’s birthdays yet! Tiffany’s daughter Destiny also has a birthday in just a couple of days. We should own stock in Hallmark or something like that this time of year.

And finally, here’s a chuckle to start your day from the collection of funny signs we see in our travels and that our readers share with us.

Be sure to enter our latest Free Drawing. This week’s prize is an audiobook of More Than Human by my friend Heather Ashbury. It’s a blend of fantasy and paranormal romance that begins when a young woman returns to an enchanting town in New Mexico following a mysterious death, where she is unexpectedly pulled into the mystical world of gods, demons, werewolves, nymphs, and more.

To enter, click on this Free Drawing link or the tab at the top of this page and enter your name (first and last) in the comments section at the bottom of that page (not this one). Only one entry per person per drawing please, and you must enter with your real name. To prevent spam or multiple entries, the names of cartoon or movie characters are not allowed. The winner will be drawn Sunday evening. Note: Due to the high shipping cost of printed books and Amazon restrictions on e-books to foreign countries, only entries with US addresses and e-mail addresses are allowed.

Thought For The Day Don’t believe everything you see in cartoons. No matter how hard you throw a toilet plunger, it won’t actually stick to somebody’s face. Don’t ask me how I know this.
