Happy Birthday Kenny

Before I do anything else with the blog today, I want to wish our son-in-law Kenny Conrad a happy birthday. Kenny is a hardworking family man dedicated to his wife and kids, and when he and our daughter Tiffany got married and brought their blended family together, I knew there would be a lot of challenges. But you are always there for them, Kenny, and I appreciate that, and I respect you for it. You are a good man and someone I am very proud of. I hope you have a great day.

Terry spent most of yesterday editing and proofreading the final chapters of The Hard Years, and after I made her corrections, I sent them off to my other two proofreaders. We’re getting close, folks!

Besides doing that, Terry also made a delicious dinner of homemade chicken noodle soup. She doesn’t do store-bought stuff when she can make it herself, and even her noodles are homemade. There is a difference!

I was happy to see Terry finish the first round of editing and proofreading for the book because it brings us one step closer to it getting published. But I think she was happy to get it out of the way because now she can work on assembling and setting up her new Louet Spring II loom, which was just delivered on Monday.

And finally, here’s a chuckle to start your day from the collection of funny signs we see in our travels and that our readers share with us.

Thought For The Day – Waking up is never easy, but I just have to remember that the world can’t revolve around me unless I get out of bed.
