Just a short blog today. We are in Jacksonville, where Terry has been going through a series of tests and medical exams at Mayo. If all goes according to plan we will be home tonight and the blogs will be back on track.
I am going to be making a change to the blog schedule. Usually I write the blog in the evening and post it at midnight local time so my readers will have it first thing in the morning. The problem with this is that all too often there is a glitch in the internet and at times it has taken me an hour or more to get the blog to post. Which means I get to bed well after 1 a.m. and am usually so frustrated that it takes me quite a while to get to sleep. So I plan to start setting it to post automatically at midnight, though that can also be a problem at times because occasionally it just doesn’t work for whatever reason. If that happens, I will post it the next morning. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Be sure to enter our latest Free Drawing’s. This week’s prize is an RV camping journal donated by Barbara House. Barbara makes several variations of these, and they all have pages where you can list the date, weather, where you traveled to and from that day, beginning and ending mileage, campground information including amenities at RV sites, a place for a campground rating, room to record activities, people met along the way, reminders of places to see and things to do the next time you’re in the area, and a page for notes for each day. To enter, click on this Free Drawing link or the tab at the top of this page and enter your name (first and last) in the comments section at the bottom of that page (not this one). Only one entry per person per drawing please, and you must enter with your real name. To prevent spam or multiple entries, the names of cartoon or movie characters are not allowed. The winner will be drawn Sunday evening.
Thought For The Day – Whoever said, “Out of sight, out of mind” never had a spider disappear in the bedroom.
Prayers that all goes well.
It’s your blog, post when you want, blogging ought to be fun! I really admire you folks who blog everyday, it takes work!
Good luck with the medical stuff.
For years your post came in so reliably at midnight that I thought you had already set it to post then automatically. I am amazed to learn that was not so.
