There is not much of a blog today, since we have to be at the hospital at 6:30 in the morning for my biopsies. They tell me it’s a simple procedure that will involve a local anesthetic at each biopsy site and light sedation. We expect to be done and headed home by about 11 a.m.
Yesterday I finished the corrections to Dead Romeos from my second proofreader and sent it on to number three. Then I worked on my authors newsletter for a while.
I ran out long enough to go to Walgreens and pick up a prescription and stopped to fill the Explorer’s gas tank. The love bugs are really beginning to swarm, and at one point while I was at the gas station I had three of them crawling on my face, one of which managed to get in my mouth. Yuck! I much prefer the taste of Hershey candy bars and strawberry ice cream.
Hopefully I will be back to whatever passes for normal for me by tomorrow and will have more of a blog to share with you.
Congratulations Bridget Wiemken, winner of our drawing for an audiobook of Capturing Faith, the first book in Victoria Schwimley’s teen/young adult Faith series. We had 35 entries this time around. Stay tuned, a new contest starts soon.
Thought For The Day – My doctor looked at the MRI of my brain and had bad news. On the left side there is nothing right, and on the right side, there is nothing left.
