Sorry folks, no blog today. I’m still in intense pain. The docs decided it’s not a kidney stone, but rather a pinched nerve, which I suspected all along. Second appointment with a chiropractor today.

Hopefully life will get back to normal soon.

  1. Prayers you can soon get some relief and get this problem under control!

  2. Been there, you have my sympathies.

  3. Well rats … I was hoping it was something easier to treat. Hang in there Nick. I’ll be sending you healing thoughts!!

  4. Topics for discussion with your DR …. After 2+ years with just this issue, we have used the application of ice packs (REALLY cold ice packs), alternating ice and heat, Tramadol, 5% lidocaine patches, and, finally, courses of Prednisone. The prednisone can be very helpful in quieting an angry, inflamed, painful nerve that just doesn’t want to shut up after he is UNpinched. Just FWIW when you are following up with your physician. Chiropractic is GREAT, but not always quickly effective AFTER the fact. i have been getting adjustment somewhat regularlyfor more than 40 years … and I believe it has saved me from the issues you and my husband are having now. So sorry that you are having difficulties. Pain SUCKS the life out of you!

  5. Years ago I needed to see a Physio Therapist because my body was a wreck. He convinced me that even moderate exercise would relieve many of those aches and pains. He was right but in the last year I haven’t been working out and the pains are returning. Can’t wait to visit the gym when i get back home.
Hoping your Pain is soon gone so you can get on with Enjoying Life.
    Be Safe and Enjoy!

    It’s about time.

  6. Prayers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
