Nick’s still under the weather so you’re stuck with me again.
Nick had an appointment with a chiropractor this morning, hoping to get some relief from his back pain. But after checking him over, she thought he was passing a kidney stone and she didn’t want to treat him until that was looked at. So he and Miss Terry were off to the ER to get it checked out.
But after a lot of tests and a CT scan, they said no kidney stone. Supposedly the culprit is now a pinched nerve. So he got some more pain pills and another appointment with the chiropractor tomorrow.
So one of us will be back tomorrow with the latest update.

Nick or Terry, did you ever consider inversion? It i the best remedy for a pinched nerve I know of. Jean & I swear by it.
Thanks, Greg, for keeping us all in the loop. We do look forward to Nick being well enough to write again, though, however long that takes.
Thanks Greg, we will keep him in our prayers. I was thinking of a kidney stone too but he has been doing a lot of work around his house.
Hope he feels better soon.
Thank you for keeping us fans of Nick posted on him. We are praying for Nick and really do appreciate your filling in for him. Thanks again! Norma
I feel so bad for all the pain Nick is suffering through. My mother went through the same kind of thing years ago with her pain. The doctors couldn’t pinpoint what the problem was no matter what they tried. They finally did an “exploratory operation” when all else failed. Know what they found” A 9 lb. ovarian tumor! Now, Nick won’t have one of those, but sometimes there seem to be no reasonable answers and they have to “bite the bullet” and take extreme measures. Hope they find the problem soon!
So sorry! We just went through this EXACT scenario! Mr Wonderful ASKED to be taken to the ER because the pain was so severe. VERY unusual for him. Once there, his symptoms were a dead on diagnosis for kidney stone … except that a CT, bloodwork and urinalysis all showed NO evidence of stone anywhere. Pinched nerve in lumbar region is the lkely culprit. Morphine helped the pain …. but it was like being kicked in a delicate area!! Another nerve ablation procedure is likely.
I hope you can find some relief!
