This is going to be a quick blog, because we are on the road this morning to Arizona to be with my daughter. I can’t thank you enough for all of the prayers and good wishes so many of you have sent. I wish I had time to reply to each email, text, blog comment, and Facebook message, but I just don’t. But please know that your support means the world to us in this very difficult time.
Yesterday afternoon they started trying to bring Tiffany out of the medically induced coma they have had her in and we had a little setback when her blood pressure and pulse both spiked very high. But they got that under control and things seem to be back on track. Until she wakes up, which could be anytime or a matter of a few days, we won’t know how much damage she suffered due to a lack of oxygen during the time her heart stopped. It could be none at all, or it could be very bad. The doctors say there is no way to tell at this point. So please keep those prayers and positive thoughts coming our way.
Yesterday was absolutely hectic, between dealing with phone calls and texts back and forth from Arizona on Tiffany’s status, packing up to go, and getting the new issue sent out to our subscribers. And of course, the program we used upload the new issue to our web server had to pick that day of all days to decide not to work properly. Or maybe it was working properly and my brain was just too fried to get the job done. At any rate, I sent it out to our subscribers as an attachment. Hopefully there won’t be any problem downloading it, but if there is, please shoot me an email and I will get to it as soon as possible. But please understand that it may take me longer to respond than normal, given everything that’s going on.
Congratulations Roy Brody, winner of our drawing for autographed copies of two books from John and Kathy Huggins, So, You Want To Be An RVer? and So, You Want To Be A Workamper? We had 120 entries this time around. Stay tuned, a new contest starts soon.

Thought For The Day – I really don’t mind getting older, but my body is taking it badly..
Travel safely. Stress can cause stupid decisions if you don’t pay enough attention. I hope Tiffany wakes up to being fully herself and you all get to breathe a big sigh of relief.
Your readers are hoping for the best for you and your family. You and Miss Terry keep taking care of each other, and stay safe.
Safe travels and prayers for Tiffany.
We’ll keep you both and Tiffany and her family in our prayers. Safe travels.

Thoughts and prayers.
Continuing to pray for you and your family. May God guide the hands of the medical team caring for her. Love & Hugs, Sharon & Don
My heart and prayers go out to you and Tiffany. We hope she fully recovers from this.
Our prayers for a safe trip and a good outcome for your daughter. We know what you are going through. We got the same phone call as you on election day 2008 that our 40 year old son, in perfect health, went into cardiac arrest. Lucky his wife was home and the 911 dispatchers gave her cpr instructions over the phone and the medic unit was not out on a junk call and responded very timely. He was place into a coma and his body chilled down at the hospital. It was early Friday morning when he came around. The hospital ran all kinds of test, but found nothing. Just to be on the safe side they implanted a pacemaker/defibulator in case he had another cardiac event. He came out of it with no after effects, so we now celebrate two birthdays. We hope for the same good out come for Tiffany.
Please don’t worry about the Gypsy Journal getting out on time. This subscriber would much rather hear news of your daughter’s speedy recovery.
Thinking of all of you each day and many prayers going up for safe travels and your beloved daughter’s healing. God bless.
