Yesterday was a déjà vu kind of day. I spent most of it writing, and Terry spent it doing some chores she wanted to get out of the way and doing some research on weaving. We had a mellow music channel on TV for background noise. Some authors say they can’t work with any noise on in the background, but that’s never bothered me. I can work no matter what’s going on around me. I guess it’s all those years I spent in small town newspaper offices.
Gremlins seem to be at work in our e-mail program, because neither Terry nor I were able to reply to any e-mails yesterday afternoon and evening. So if you wrote to us and didn’t get a response, my apologies. I’ll try again today.
One e-mail was from a couple who say they read this blog religiously every day, so I hope they are reading today, since I could not reply to them. ANY job opportunity that wants you to pay them is a scam! I have never heard of any job that charges $50 per person, or ANY amount for that matter, just to review your resume and for a background check. There are lots of places looking for good workers, don’t waste your time on this outfit.
I worked on my new book for part of the day, and then let Bad Nick play with the computer for a while, and he posted a new Bad Nick blog titled Here’s The Real Problem. Check it out and leave a comment.
One of the nice things about not having rally planning take up so much of our time is that I have more time for writing and blogging. I neglected my other two blogs for a long time now and I’ve missed them. Starting later this week I am going to begin running a series of interviews with Indie authors on my self-publishing blog. Yesterday morning I posted an interview form on one of the author forums I frequent and by the end of the day over a dozen authors had already submitted their interviews.
It sprinkled off and on all day and in the evening it turned into a steady rain. It was another good night for sleeping. Good, because Terry has an early dental appointment today and we have to get up early. We’re both night owls and we don’t do early very well.
Thought For The Day – Just because you and I don’t agree, doesn’t make me right or you wrong, it just means we see things differently through our experiences.

Yep, there’s some sort of problem over at Bad Nick’s blog. Got a ‘database’ type error.
