We’re not sure what happened, but for some reason WordPress deactivated Greg White’s Our RV Adventures blog yesterday afternoon. There was no explanation, just a cryptic message that said the blog had been removed for a Terms of Service violation. Yeah, Greg was bad!
We have no idea why this happened, because Greg sure hasn’t done anything to break the rules, and the folks at WordPress don’t exactly make it easy to contact them to find out what the heck is going on. Whatever it is, I’m sure it will be resolved soon and Greg’s many faithful readers will be able to get their daily fix again.
For years now, Miss Terry’s oncologist back in Traverse City, Michigan has been urging her to get a primary care doctor to take care of her regular medical checkups and such. Because of our mobile lifestyle and the fact that after her cancer treatment, medical insurance was unaffordable, until now that hasn’t happened. But since I transferred to the Tucson VA Hospital last year, since we come through here so often, Terry decided to find a local doctor. My cousin Beverly recommended her doctor’s office, and Terry set up an appointment for yesterday. She really likes Dr. Puca and feels comfortable with him so I think it’s a good match. He wants her to have some lab work and routine tests, which we hope to get done while we’re in town. Don’t worry, nothing is wrong that we know of, it’s just time to establish regular medical care. We’re not getting any younger and as we all get older we will have issues that might come up.
I will have a long day at the VA hospital today. I have an appointment at 10:30 AM and another at 2 PM, so that will keep me busy all day. Again, nothing is wrong, just routine checkups and a couple of minor issues that need to be addressed. Terry is going to take advantage of the time to get some things accomplished around here that never seem to get done because I’m always underfoot or dragging her off someplace. At least that’s what she says. Who could blame her if she just poured herself a cup of coffee, relaxed on the couch and watched a little TV or read her Kindle? Or just takes advantage of the peace and quiet!
The weather in Tucson is perfect right now, with days in the low 80s and nights in the mid-50s. But we’re supposed to have a cold front coming through this weekend and the daytime highs will barely reach into the low 60s. By Monday or Tuesday the weatherman says things will be back to normal again. We know it won’t be too long before it really starts to warm up here in the desert, and we are hoping to be gone by then if we can. It all depends on how soon we can get all the medical stuff done. Trust me, we really don’t want to be here when the thermometer climbs into the triple digits.
Thought For The Day – Why do we teach our children that sex is the most awful, filthy thing on earth, and they should save it for someone they love?
From reading other blogs, Greg’s problem is he was probably hacked. Doesn’t sound good!
just for your info. temp in Elkhart is to be 78-80 today and in the 70s right thru the weekend. If you are attracting the cold front stay where you are. tanx
